Reesie Reader & Bookie are also known as leaders for reading, Cherese Bracey & Andrey Morris. The brother and sister team is planting the seeds of loving to read in children all around as they encourage children of all ages to make books their friends. Andrey began his reading hero adventure with his sister in 2005 when the two set out to make a difference in the lives of children. Andrey is known for previous character roles in earlier years from "Jazzy Turkey" a school theatric play, and literacy mascot "Mastor Chill," who performed for the Jersey City Board of education-a writing character who expresses the importance of education and literacy.

Cherese Bracey, author & creator of Story Time Friends characters began her days as Reesie Reader by dressing up in a wig and self made "I Love To Read" costume to spread the word to children that reading in fun. She has a love for reading and teaching children to "shine their light" by being the best at what they do. Her love for helping children learn the value of reading at an early age is a strong vision that encourages confidence and boosts self esteem. From start to finish, the Story Time Friends Project has evolved from just a sketch of characters on paper to individuals with a passionate mission to spread the love of reading. Her husband Taji Bracey-former little league coach and business partner- joined the family based team because of his love for children and the joy of seeing children have fun. Together they give back to their community by helping children in need to receive brand new books so children can build their very own home libraries.

Since its inception, the project has since given birth to live mascots, children's books, an innovative literacy program, collectible vintage Reesie Reader dolls, commercial advertising, a newly released educational song "Story Time Friends" performed by their cousins and much more to come. The team gives thanks to their Lord Jesus Christ to whom they credit for all they have accomplished thus far a special thanks to Rising Tide Capital Community Business Academy for helping to acheive their goals.
